Peddro LLC ("Peddro," "we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company, operates the Peddro platform — a marketplace connecting pet owners with independent pet care providers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
Account registration: name, email address, password.
Profile information: phone number, ZIP code, city, state, profile photo, and biography.
Pet information: pet name, breed, age, weight, size, vaccination status, behavioral notes, bite history, escape risk, allergies, medications, veterinarian contact, and emergency contact.
Sitter information: services offered, rates, availability, home photos, home type, yard details, and radius of service.
Booking details: service type, dates, times, drop-off/pick-up instructions, care notes, and messages exchanged between users.
Home access information: entry instructions, alarm codes, key locations, or smart-lock access details shared between owners and sitters for the purpose of a booking. This information may reveal when a home is unoccupied.
Payment information: billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.
Reviews: ratings and written reviews you submit about other users.
Information collected automatically:
Usage data: pages visited, features used, search queries, timestamps.
Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system.
Location data: approximate location derived from your ZIP code. We do not collect precise GPS location.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Create and maintain your account.
Match pet owners with available sitters based on location and service type.
Process bookings and payments.
Send you notifications about your bookings, messages, and account activity.
Display public profiles, reviews, and ratings.
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. How We Share Your Information
With other users: Your public profile (name, photo, city, services, reviews) is visible to all users. Booking-related contact information is shared between the owner and sitter involved in that booking.
With service providers: We share data with third-party vendors who help us operate the platform, including:

Google Firebase — database, authentication, file storage, and cloud functions.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
