1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Peddro LLC, a California limited liability company ("Peddro," "we," "us," or "our"), operating the platform at peddro.com.
By creating an account on Peddro or using any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use Peddro.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. What Peddro Is (and Is Not)
Peddro is a marketplace platform only. Peddro LLC operates an online platform that connects pet owners ("Owners") with independent pet care providers ("Sitters"). Peddro does not employ Sitters, does not provide pet care services, and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any Sitter or Owner.
Sitters on Peddro are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Peddro LLC. Any pet care arrangement you make is solely between you and the other user.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Peddro. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
4. Accounts and Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
5. Owner Responsibilities and Disclosures
As an Owner, you agree to:
Provide accurate information about your pet(s), including health conditions, behavioral issues, and vaccination status.
Disclose any aggressive behavior or history of biting prior to a booking.
Ensure your pet is current on all vaccinations required by your jurisdiction.
Pay all agreed fees through the platform.
Treat Sitters with respect and not engage in harassment or abuse.
Failure to disclose known health or behavioral issues that result in harm to a Sitter, other animals, or property may result in your liability for any resulting damages.
Owner Disclosures. Owners must provide complete and accurate information regarding each pet, including known medical conditions, medications, vaccination status, bite history, aggression, reactivity, escape tendencies, behavioral triggers, special handling requirements, and any other facts a reasonable sitter would consider important. Failure to disclose material information may result in account action and may limit eligibility for refunds, support, or any protection program.
Prohibited Animals. Peddro is for domestic dogs only. Owners may not arrange care for exotic animals, wild animals, animals prohibited by local law,
